Special Features in Lowell, Massachusetts

Here is a list of the features that we believe make Lowell Day Nursery special. We are always looking for ways to improve the quality of our facility and our program to give you and your child the best experience possible.
  • Security — Each person entering the facility must be buzzed in through a security door at the front office.
  • Computers — Each classroom (except toddlers) has computers to offer our students, with developmentally appropriate learning opportunities.
  • Classrooms — All of our classrooms are spacious, with abundant outdoor views. They also have their own child-sized bathrooms and sinks.
  • Playgrounds — Each age group enjoys the use of their own dedicated outdoor area. Our spacious playgrounds have built-in sandboxes, plenty of gross motor room, and spaces to bring curriculum-themed activities outside when weather permits. Our playgrounds are inspected by an accredited playground specialist yearly.
  • Additional Support — Almost every classroom benefits from the help and support of elderly volunteers through the Grandparents Volunteer Program. The staff mentors them towards their future careers in early childhood education.
  • Subsidy — We have a long experience with government subsidy programs. When you contact our enrollment coordinator, ask for details of what your options might be.
  • Maintenance — We have part-time maintenance personnel on-site to attend to repairs and upkeep of the facility five days a week. We also have a part-time housekeeper on-site five days a week. This position is augmented by a private cleaning crew that cleans the classrooms and bathrooms each night after-hours.
