Executive Director
Lina GrucaI am honored to be the Executive Director here at Lowell Day Nursery. I have my Degree in Early Childhood Education and have been in the field since 1991. I taught Infants through Preschool aged children for twelve years before moving into Administrative Positions. I love being around children of all ages and enjoy watching them learn something new everyday. I enjoy being a leader to all my staff and always strive to be available to support them as well as all children and families in our program. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, my two dogs, cooking, reading and taking long walks.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions about our wonderful programs.

Evelyn Turgeon
AI have held administrative roles in diverse settings, from a large corporation to a small real estate appraisal firm, where I also served as a Real Estate Appraiser. Additionally, I have owned my own Real Estate Appraisal practice and have significant experience working directly with the public. My roles have encompassed a variety of responsibilities, allowing me to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Certainly, my experience in administration has provided me a well-rounded skill set that includes effective communication, organization and multitasking. In my roles, I learned how to navigate complex situations and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality. My experience as a business owner equipped me with a strong understanding of client relations.
As a parent of three adult children, I operated a home-based daycare while they were growing up. I take great joy in watching my six grandchildren as they grow and discover new things each day and reminds me of the importance of nurturing curiosity and learning in young minds. On the personal side, my journey as a parent and caregiver has profoundly shaped my perspective. Balancing work with family responsibilities taught me resilience and adaptability. Running a daycare at home not only allowed me to support my children but also enriched my life by fostering connections with other families in the community
