Executive Director

Lina Gruca
I am honored to be the Executive Director here at Lowell Day Nursery.  I have my Degree in Early Childhood Education and have been in the field since 1991.  I taught Infants through Preschool aged children for twelve years before moving into Administrative Positions.  I love being around children of all ages and enjoy watching them learn something new everyday.  I enjoy being a leader to all my staff and always strive to be available to support them as well as all children and families in our program.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, my two dogs, cooking, reading and taking long walks.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions about our wonderful programs.

Sandra Doherty

Hello from Sandra Doherty, the Business Manager. My children, now adults, attended Lowell Day Nursery many years ago. They feel that Lowell Day provided them with the early learning skills and tools they needed to help them grow to become educated and productive adults. I have worked for Lowell Day since 1990.
The Teachers have great longevity with an average of 20 years.   Our Teachers write curriculum which includes math, science, reading and pre-reading skills, and everything a pre-school student needs to learn. The State of Massachusetts has won "Race to the Top for Early Education" and is working on the "Quality Rating System." Our School is always working on quality and raising the bar for Early Childhood.
Contact Lowell Day Nursery to provide your child with a strong, educational foundation.
