I am proud and happy to help give them that environment.

I have been teaching for a total of 30 years, the last 20 here at LDN. I received my Director II certification in 2020, but have always preferred to focus my skills teaching in the classroom. In 2018 I became president for our SEIU Local 888 Union here at LDN. My favorite hobby is gardening, and Halloween is my favorite holiday. We are all one big family here at LDN, and I could not ever imagine working anywhere else!

Kristal Foley- Teacher
I have a true passion for molding young children's minds! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. I spend my spare time with my son exploring the world in new ways!

Melissa Crowley- Teacher
I have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education . I have been fortunate and blessed to be teaching in an amazing school that has a nurturing, loving environment where children can learn and experience new challenges that will help build their confidence while they play. I look forward to continuing to have a positive impact on the children's growth and to new discoveries with an amazing team of teachers. When I’m not at school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I have a talented boy who goes to Virginia Tech. I enjoy walks with my dog everyday. We explore our great community here in Lowell.

I started working at Lowell Day Nursery in January 2021 and have enjoyed each and every day. I have always loved working with children, and enjoy watching them learn new things. I became preschool certified at the end of my high school career and then continued my education to earn my Bachelor's in psychology.

Green Family —  5 year and 6 year olds

Donna Lehman — Lead Teacher

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and starting teaching at Lowell Day Nursery in 1986.  Over that time, I have seen many changes and have adapted my teaching to accommodate these changes. I still wonder at the look on the faces of children when they finally master a task (tying their shoes or managing the scissors). I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Purple Family — 4 Year olds

 Sandy Lebaropoulos- Lead Teacher
I have been working at Lowell Day Nursery since 1995. I have worked in Purple Family all that time. One of the great things about Lowell Day is the longevity of the staff.  In my  25 years, I have had only two co-workers and I have had great working relationships with them both.

 Morgan Colby— Teacher

I have been working at Lowell Day Nursery since August of 2020, but I have been working with children since 2008. Shortly after high school, I continued my education at Middlesex Community College where I studied Early Childhood Education and became infant, toddler, and preschool certified. I wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember and I couldn't be happier that I decided to pursue this career. I truly look forward to seeing the sense of wonder in the children's smiling faces every morning.
